Conquering New York Real Estate (Part 1)
I came to this realization because I had a difficult time focusing on my entrepreneurial endeavors. People in my personal life were sucking my time dry. Further, it was also a way for me to get a job, without getting a job, if you catch my drift. I can still be an entrepreneur, and make more consistent income than I am making now, which I can reinvest back into this website. Being a salesperson is essentially being a commission-based subcontractor: you have to "kill what you eat." It's also my way of giving a big "f*ck you" to all of the normies in this space. By getting into real estate as a salesperson, I can tell people I have a job, and still have my entrepreneurial cake too.
I'm definitely not discounting how difficult selling real estate will be. I plan on working extremely hard at it, putting in 40 to 50 hours a week with the idea that sales may be sparse. But, I think it will be completely doable, especially if I focus on the low hanging fruit: leases.
This is a new series for this website, so keep checking in to see how my real estate journey unfolds. I am currently studying for my New York real estate exam, and I am 50% completed. In the next post, I will write about my experience taking the New York real estate exam.
This post is dedicated to my main squeeze (not really) @Btradez on Twitter. Thanks for the support BB.
